Enjoyed an excellent lunch at the MEL F lounge. Food and service were great.
We've boarded and now doors closed. JQ35 departed around 7pm. I overheard the CSM saying to a pax on boarding that we could divert to DRW if necessary. Fingers crossed it doesn't come to that!

Reportedly a rescue flight inbound from Perth. Some chat about a landing gear failure- unclear if the QF 737 or the aircraft stuck on the runway at DRW (which I haven’t been able to identify)QF836 MEL-DRW diverted to KNX on account of a disabled aircraft stuck on runway 11/29
Plane appears to still be in Kununurra
QF849 DRW-PER cancelled
QF113 DRW-SIN delayed (scheduled departure 1455 actual departure 1636)
I believe the usual flow is MEL-DRW-SIN so assume the PER aircraft has been hastily requisitioned to cover the (full) SIN service. Can’t back this assertion up with paperwork however
