If anyone hasn't received a notification from Qantas yet could they please post here to help us get an idea of how widespread the hack is?

We both got the "to everyone" email at 12.31 Wednesday, and only the wife got the "specific" follow-up email this evening, so far. and we've both got the follow-up this evening.

EDIT: to add timing.

I haven't even received the general one yet.

Edit: I received both emails, into my Junk folder, overnight. Strangely, the personal one was sent before the general one.

I have received one a few hours ago, and my wife received one this morning - both WA time…

This thread is for those who have not received a notification.

There is another thread for those who have - whether it be the generic notification that QF has been hacked or notification that your information has been compromised: QANTAS Cyber Incident

So much for @RSD's worthy attempt at separating the two notification types...
Can't win 'em all :)

I haven't done a count but I'm getting the general impression that somewhere between 80 to 90% of members who have responded have been caught up in this.

I haven't received any emails about the breach at all. Haven't called Qantas in many years, although I did have FF email contact with them earlier this year.

Still no emails at all for our two accounts this morning and just the general one to sons never used account yesterday.

So the fact we didn't receive the general one doesn't convince me that we shouldn't have received the second one, just Qantas IT doing its thing again.
