Nice but shame my upcoming flights have companions
Yes, could be awkward. SYD+1 and I have a trip next week. Separate tix each way…The comp upgrades are back, from now until 30/11 inclusive for one pax PNRs where the pax holds CLP1/P1/CL/P. Comp upgrades will be processed from Y to J or J to F only. W pax are for some reason excluded...
For CLP1/P1 they'll be done at T-22h. For CL/P, for international they'll be done at T-22h and for domestic they'll be done at T-6h.
Where is this information from? When you say 'Y' do you mean any economy or class type 'Y'. I suppose this will be subject to availability, provided there are seats in the upgrade class. Not much chance in domestic flights then! The comp upgrades are back, from now until 30/11 inclusive for one pax PNRs where the pax holds CLP1/P1/CL/P. Does that include E, G, L, M, N, O, Q, S, V?Y cabin to J cabin, J cabin to F cabin. These are space available but they will keep some spare, so they aren't reliant on U/P classes being available.

Not sure that really helps. It doesn't say anything about class types. And if Qantas are notify pax about reinstating op-ups, I have no information.See post #1

As for Qantas notifying PAX, I'm sure there's nothing public.Today I am travelling internationally in O class and after doing OLCI yesterday, the advice to obtain my boarding pass at the airport was received.

Understood, eventually.MR is a travel agent with close connections at QF. Just because he knows it, doesn't mean it's public knowledge.
That happened with us in EK. (Back when they liked Qantas members) But on same PNR. MrP was SG and I was silver. We were in J. He got an upgrade to F at check in. I didn't. I was simply excited for him and told him to grab all the goodies. He asked if he could change it so I had it. She couldn't change it. As I went to board my boarding pass triggered an alarm. They ended up upgrading me too.I've got a flight with MrsDaver6 in November, but separate bookings. I'm WP while she's SG. This could get awkward![]()
