Qantas Club Membership

Seeking some advice re joing the Qantas Club. missed out on joining the Qantas 45% sale and another sale. Have few trips planned this year and also planning an extensive trip overseas so keen to enjoy some chill time. Also looking at saving some dollars, am only a bronze member and just cant get the points up to silver, after trip overseas will be silver. Am thinking joing AFF and with discount there that will be cheapest way, but any other suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Qantas have a sale before Christmas the last two years, can you wait? Otherwise the corporate scheme through AFF is quite cheap.

Any idea about when they do this, eg, in December, or do you have more specific dates available. And do they make these sales to join QC available for NZers?
