Thanks for the quick reply. I assume that we have to pay the membership fees on top of that joining fee?

The prices Markis10 quoted above _include_ the joining fee.

Have a serious look at this forums gold membership Qantas Club Corporate scheme before making a decision. Markis10 has put up the link in his post above.

Normal public rates are below, AFF has a member scheme that is discounted (see the last post: http://www.australianfrequentflyer....ges/need-find-qantas-club-corp-9333-16.html):

Individual Membership

TypePrice (AUD)*
1 year $840.00
2 year $1,220.00
4 year $1,980.00
The above prices include a joining fee and are based on the prospective member's Australian tax residency declaration. If you are a Frequent Flyer, you can also choose to pay for your own Qantas Club membership in Frequent Flyer points.

this link doesnt work anymore :(

niiiiiiiiiik,

The full details are as follows:

With regard to joining or renewing the Qantas Club scheme via AFF the following should give you all the details you need. Every GOLD member can submit one QF Club Application/Renewal form. The primary member can be the AFF member or someone they nominate. They can also can include a partner member on the same form, so one GOLD membership could entitle 2 people (primary + partner) to use our scheme.

You can swap to the AFF Corporate scheme at any time so long as your AFF Gold membership is valid. There is no difference in membership benefits between corporate and standard membership other than the price.

To protect the integrity of the system we do not give out the corporate scheme number. The form is found here:
http://www.australianfrequentflyer.com.au/community/gold-membership-privileges/save-200-qantas-club-membership-10788.html

The rates on the Qantas form are not correct so the correct rates are found here:
(Need to find a Qantas Club corp. program)http://www.australianfrequentflyer.com.au/community/airport-lounges/need-find-qantas-club-corp-9333-4.html#post640320

The quickest and easiest is to complete the form and email it to me so I can ring it through to Qantas either the same day or the following day. (email: [email protected])

If travelling overseas there are some lounges that won't allow entry without the card. If this is a concern you can pay (Qantas $30) for your kit to be posted within one day of processing. Express delivery within Australia usually takes 2 - 3 business days and 3 - 7 business days for international delivery. Otherwise your membership kit will be delivered within two to three weeks. If travelling within Australia in the near future normal processing is adequate, as your Qantas Club membership should show on your boarding passes. If it does not show then they can look it up for you and give you a temporary membership card if you wish.

If you are already a Qantas Club member the AFF membership would of course follow on from the end of your current membership and there would be no joining fee.

As per the link you can of course still send the form via snail mail.

Completing the membership by email just makes the process a little more seamless and is much quicker.

Regards,

Bill

One question. If you purchase a partner with the main account aswell, can you invite two guests into QC or just one? And can this be used in conjunction with jetstar flights?
