My Qantas club membership form as been forwarded via the frequent flyer forum. Everything has been processed and my welcome pack sent to me (I have called and requested express delivery)

Now when do they actually take the money?

Is it when I first visit the lounge or do you think they forgot?

The money should have been debited before the pack was sent…

Are you sure it simply hasn’t appeared in your statement yet?

After the 2 week cool off period?

I didn't know there was a two weeks cool off period.

So are you saying that they will debit after 2 weeks?

Similar thing happened to me, they didn't charge it on the cc for a week or so after the pack came

How much is it these days (with the discount provided by membership of this forum)?

I wouldn't be too concerns, QF are often slow with debiting funds, I see it all the time on tickets charged direct to clients cards, it can often take 2-3 weeks for the funds to be debited by them.

They'll take your money though, don't worry about that, it is QF we're talking about :mrgreen:

Its a couple of hundred off the full price I believe. So, a new membership is probably about $640 (?) + 50 to join the forum as a gold. A nice quick saving of $150ish
