Can any Qantas Club members share their experience of the American Airlines lounge at Heathrow while waiting for QF2 back to Sydney.

It's a decidedly average lounge. The food offerings are nothing special, but the showers there are great (I usually pop in and use the showers there then head off to other places).

It's still better than the main terminal which is like a cattle pen at the best of times!

Based on my experience (one visit only) of the AA First (Flagship) lounge at LHR T3 (and the reasonable assumption that it would be better than the Admiral's Club) I would agree with drewbles' assessment. A domestic Qantas Club is probably better than the LHR Flagship lounge. And yes, the non-lounge areas of T3 are a zoo - I couldn't wait to get out of there.
