I couldn't find an answer to this anywhere and AI was no help!

I have booked a Qantas Classic Reward from Osaka (KIX) to Hong Kong via Taipei (TPE). The first sector is operated by Jetstar Japan (GK), with the connecting sector operated by Cathay Pacific (CX). Has anyone had experience with this type of booking, particularly regarding checked baggage?
I’m trying to work out whether my bags will be checked through to the CX flight, or whether I will need to collect them in Taipei, clear customs/immigration and then re-check them. The flights are all booked together as a single Qantas Classic Reward booking, and both sectors appear together in the Qantas, Cathay and Jetstar systems when I log in.
I’ve found information saying that Jetstar has an interline agreement with Cathay Pacific, although I’m wondering whether this applies to Jetstar Japan (GK) or only Jetstar (JQ).
My connection in Taipei is only 2 hours and 20 minutes, so I’m particularly keen to know whether I’ll need to collect and re-check the bags.
Has anyone actually done a GK → CX connection like this on a Qantas award booking?
Appeciate the help.
