My daughter just contacted me re checking her bags at DFW. The Qantas web site says Gate D66 but there are no gates that high in Terminal D.

Anyone been there lately who can point my daughter in the right direction for checking in her bags for QF8 ?

Appreciate yur help

Cheers

Go to terminal D and there are obvious signs to QANTAS check in. I don't recall there being anything tricky about it.

Thanks for the reply. According to my daughter there are no obvious signage for Qantas. Do they have dedicated gate numbers ?

You don't normally check bags at a "gate" - that would be airside.

One would check in bags landside at a counter. Is this referring to "check in counter" number 66?

The flight is departing from a gate - D14

Qantas checkin is counter D66 amongst others

Check-in is open from 5.55pm to 8.55pm daily. Economy check-in is available from counters D64 to D66.
Check-in for Business, Chairmans Lounge Qantas Club and oneworld Emerald passengers is available at counters D67 to D68.

All sorted guys thanks. Yeah I meant Counter not Gate.
She found the counter down near the AA counter.
Not very well signed posted evidently or possibly a stressed out daughter who wasn't looking closely.

Happy Fathers Day !!

Thanks again for your replies

She really thought it was easier to contact you and get you to post on AFF, rather than just ask someone at the airport? :)
