Good morning,

Just got an email from Qantas that my flight voucher has changed (which I bought earlier in the year)
When logging in it now says I have to call to make a booking using the voucher.
Is that a new thing? I was always able to just book a flight online which the voucher.
Wonder if I can get my money back as not keen to call when I want to do a booking.

Anyone had something similar before?

It appears to be a Qantas IT SNAFU.

Many members have reported getting the same email and most are disregarding it.

It’s possible there’s a T&C change but I think it’s highly unlikely and when you eventually want to book, I suspect the online system will be as usual.

I called them and you cannot use any of these gift vouchers online now. You have to call.
They said they had been updating all gift vouchers with new dates so that they don't get archived, even though they are only a few months old in my case.
I really do not want to have to call to book a flight.
Last month, I accidentally made an error using one of the vouchers online. I called to change the flight under the same day no mistake rule, what a nightmare. They kept telling me I couldn't change the flight under that rule because I was using a flight credit and I'd need to pay $99 change fee.
Eventually got it sorted.

Bloody hell.

Where do they get the "engineers"?!

I worry if this is going to affect the fight club status of these vouchers. My plans are royally stuffed if they do. But also this comes at a very annoying time as I have flights to book shortly.

QF IT have likely been reprimanded and are on the case. You are all receiving these messages in the last little while:
