Decided to skip entree and go straight to mains and dessert. Got the nuts, beef fillet and cheese.

The steak was surprisingly nice. Cheese great too.

Ok just had dinner and dessert.

Soy chicken with noodles, brownie and an ice cream sandwich. Indulgent. But not planning in eat anymore tonight in HK.

The noodles wee mid but chicken slightly above average. Ice cream sandwich - how can you go wrong.

Agree- it’s rather silly and how much can a little bit of soup cost? Though they are, admittedly, often the most tasty thing on the menu.

So, unless it’s pumpkin (), they definitely are “Gourmet” soups

Yes, they really can do a great pumpkin soup.

Yes, I will happily concede that Qantas remains the undisputed king of soups. These days, I fly another airline in a higher cabin, and even its soups only match Qantas on a good day.

Everything else, however, may need a refresher course, starting with getting passengers’ bags safely from A to B in one piece.
