That's pretty bad. From memory, and it's a while ago now, they aren't even that good.

Took quite sometime for my prawn pasta to be served. Staff said fiddly and time consuming as prawns, sauce and pasta need to be heated separately.
Pasta ribbons tough but sauce delicious. Needs to be served in a pasta bowl IMO.
Bread roll looks rock hard!

It’s a supper service, no starter. Just mains.

It’s a fairly decent offering compared to say SQ where the refreshment service would be just a choice of two, off the menu (no book the cook for refreshment services).

It hit the spot, especially as I didn’t bother with breakie on QF42 in the hope more sleep hours would happen but with 8 toddlers in J there was no chance! There was drinks being spilled into chairs, lights coming on all night, a vomit comet on landing, both crew and adults I suspect felt like clapping when the wheels hit the runway at 6AM

Hoping that was a one-off, since I'll be back on that flight in about 10 days time. That sort of ratio would be more expected on DPS-SYD than CGK-SYD I would have thought?

For the first time in a long time I had an unhappy crying toddler very close to me (right across the aisle) in J for much of my recent DOH-LHR on QR. I'd forgotten how even earplugs are not enough to drown out the screams. And in the hush of an A380 cabin it stands out even more. At least in the noisier old A330s there's some more background white noise to mask it a bit!

MEL -> PER tight turnaround Tue 07 Jul 26, due to late arrival of inbound flight, MEL fog stayed till quite late in the day.
Different than announced on board.
QF767 (brings back memories), 13.05 dep MEL time, 15.45 arr PER time, time diff taken into account.
Prawn pasta with salmon cutlets.
As it was QFd, no menus, J IFM still used note pad, no iPad.
I didn't ask for alchy this time round, ...
Ice cream was Maggie Lemon and Honey, yum.

Now why can't QFi use crockery similar to your QFd for plating pasta
The delicious sauce slipped all around the plate ....

QF127 Sydney to Hong Kong. Delayed departure due to satellite related issues.

Chicken skewers were tender, unfortunately I copped a splitting headache so had one forkful of the beef and had to leave the rest to lie down until it passed. Missed dessert and passed on the meal before arrival.

Was able to enjoy some decent food in the Qantas HK lounge waiting for my final flight of the day.

They were in QF J. Will CX let their own elites into the Wing F when flying on other oneworld airlines?

I tried to talk my way in as a QF P1 flying CX recently and was given a firm no lol.

More importantly, will CX ever open up the Wing F to other OWEs flying CX? We’re passing thru again next month and assuming we’ll be heading to the Pier F.

Pier F was pleasantly quiet on my recent visits - had no issues getting a shower, massage and day suite all in the one 3-4 hour visit. One visit was in the morning and one in the afternoon. I think all the CX elites are preferencing the Wing F, even though it doesn't sound that good.

I still can't believe they got rid of the cabanas ...
