Qantas Business Class meals & menus

QF1297 MEL-HBA (20:05>21:25)
After a day spent eating and drinking from Auckland to Melbourne, food wasn't really on the radar.
Options were a chicken and mushroom pie with mashed potato or a chesse plate.

I took the cheese plate. which was actually good. The blue was very strong but the cheddar/hard cheese was starting to crust at the edges.

A pack of lavosh more than coped with the amount of cheese.

Grapes were still firm but the nuts were stale.
The dark chocolate went well.

The Shiraz was good but I was past wine appreciation hour by this time.
I had the chicken and mushroom pie on my MEL-SYD flight yesterday. It wasn't bad.

I'm sorry but a few hunks of cheese of varying quality, packaged crackers, a handful of grapes, and stale nuts. This is not a business class meal. Nor is a pie.

At least my expectations are in the gutter for my upcoming flights. 🙃

The cheese is generally pretty good! Compared to the offering on CX for example… which really is bland and feels inexpensive. Closing my eyes on CX I couldn’t tell between the three cheeses on offer.

The QF one by comparison is hefty, and tasty.

Agree the nuts are stale… or maybe theyre activated, or it is unactivated? 🤣 Anyway… they’re not that enticing.
