We asked what time the restaurant was opening and were told normally 12

Does anyone know what time it closes?

Hoping to try it before my late night MEL flight departs.

Where is the Minute Steak, Hamburger or Toastie option?? This Menu was available yesterday (Tue) to Platinum FF in the exclusive dining area - very underwhelming. Hot food available to others also below par in my opinion. Ice cream now by the scoop and not self serve.

Looks like those in AKL after 5pm may find the EK lounge a better option.

I was in the lounge last week and it’s a vast improvement on the old lounge. Bright and airy.

I can assure you that it's a single page as per my photo - just about everyone I noticed was turning over to see what was on the reverse side - diddly squat.

The refurbed lounge has been well reviewed so I’ll just a few pix to give people an idea of the breakfast options.

Am a big fan of ice cream for breakfast but it does seem like a lost opportunity to not partner with a local ice-cream brand (duck island for example) or a well-known international brand (Hagen dazs).

Is this self serve or do you need to flag down a staff member?

I find it amazing that they have a better beer selection than anywhere in the lounges across Australia...

Need to get a staff member - gone are the good old days of self serve from the ice cream fridge.

You need to be served by the staff at the bar.
