Qantas A380 reliability issues creeping up again?

QF11 SYD-LAX on 29-Jun-26 cancelled. Any idea why?
Rebooked successfully to the day earlier on a different routing; interestingly the options provided to a points X ticket were a lot more numerous than to a paid Q? ticket. I rang the FF line and was able to get something that worked for us.
But we are going a day earlier and will need an extra night accommodation - any options for compensation?

Not sure why it was cancelled so far out. I'm on QF11 on the 24JUN and so far at least it's operating as scheduled.

I was booked in F on QF12 on 7 November which just got cancelled and I was moved to Nov 8 (which wasn't going to work). no idea why that day only, QF12 seems to be running everyday either side of it for at least a week. anyway it worked out for me as I wanted to move to a DFW departure anyway, so I just did that.
