Qantas A380 New Route Speculation

So are new orders for anything from Boeing or Airbus.
Lead times of 3-7 years (depending on model) for new orders.
Don't they have additional purchase right options split between the 787 and A350 families as well, which could potentially get them earlier in the delivery queue?

Qantas have already said they'll equip a subfleet with lie-flat. Also, QF Group have many more options for A321s beyond the firm order count.

QF also have a track record of saying a lot of things and either failing to deliver on time or at all :)
