No official seat map released, although I've seen a preliminary one showing 42 business class, 28 premium economy and 165 economy: but I stress, this doesn't mean the final tally will be same.

And nope, no first class.

So the night before the big event :)
I'm led to believe there will be some special guests tomorrow. Fingers crossed for a good event. I'll try to update this thread with pics as it unfolds.
 
For sure Alan will be there.
But not a smidgen of any of our colleagues getting close.
I have given QF a lot more than I have given VA.
The email must have been on a targetted list.

Y seats - bigger screen, HD, bigger pitch than any QF Y seat.
PE seat - being saved for the new year

Reportedly livery is a little different when viewed from below

Not a fan of the font...
They still haven't finished painting the previous logo on the entire fleet since changing it in 2008.

The font harks back to earlier models with modern twists (like the Q) but just looks stretched, and the kerning is off.

I'm going to be THAT guy and say that the event was a fizzer with no real substance!

No routes, no surprises in Y, no Y+ reveal.

Back to bed marketing peeps! Reinstate the old logo and give us some material news!

The first class (my bad - Business class) seats look a little - hard? And not luxurious. Give me padding every time. Padding = luxury.

The font - I don't like it at all.

And the stylised 'roo' - still Qantas but I kind of liked the front paw of previous versions. It looks like one of those weapons that are thrown? Sorry, can't think of the name. :eek:

The privacy divider is now motorised and can be taken up and down. Must have had the negative feedback of couples wanting to be able to talk in the centre seats...
