Qanta Revenue Booking - No eticket Received

Hi, I booked an international Qantas flight from the US using a credit card. No points. I still haven’t received any form of confirmation or eticket. I called and they said it takes 24-48 hours. We are at 48 hours now and still nothing. I have my booking reference and I completed the apis (although it keeps saying additional information needed and no idea how to get rid of this). I have a connecting leg with Alaska airlines and completed the passport section in this as well. Is this something to be worried about? Anyone have a solution on how to get Qantas to send me some type of confirmation or the actual e tickets?

When is the flight? If it is months away give it a little while. Little risk in not having now.
Without knowing what the additional information required in APIS is, it could be that the system is deeming it to not hav been completed and hence won't issue the ticket.

Go into MMB and check if your DoB is in there under APIS. That’s a mandatory requirement to issue a ticket.

It’s not for a while but I’m worried if they don’t issue it, the partner airline will cancel their portion. I’ve been reading a lot of different people’s situations and outcomes.

Yes it’s in there. I’ve also deleted and retyped it. I made sure it’s in the format they want.

Partners cancelling is an issue unique to classic rewards.

Unlikely to be an issue with a cash booking as the to ticketing deadline set by the fare rules will apply to all sectors (including the Qantas
Sectors) … so I’d be shocked to learn that cash fares were being cancelled due to ticketing delays caused by QF.

You can try and add the trip to CheckMyTrip. If it’s been ticketed, you can at least see the eTicket number and sit back and wait for the QF email.

Thank you for that reassurance!

I found my booking there but no eticket number
Ok. So most likely not ticketed yet. Perhaps try some of the other suggestions.
well, no.

Using app amd web (on smartphone) I cannot see the ticket number for a PNR I know is ticketed (Currently transiting in SIN on it).

So I called them again. They said they are not able to issue the ticket because the ticket I purchased doesn't exist anymore. In other words, the price i purchased it at doesn't exist anymore and they don't want to honor it even though they accepted my credit card and I see it as a charge on my statement. She resubmitted it to the ticketing department just in case so we will see but most likely will have to request a refund in 48 hours when I still have not received anything.

Which airline?

I’ve just scrolled through flights past and future across QF, CX, AA, BA, AY, CA, QR, LA and 4E (maybe some others) and only 4E and one QF reward flight don’t show e-Tickets.

I don’t know if it’s just getting the e-Ticket from the email or looking up the PNR. Someone else recently used CMT to get a ticket number, so I assume it’s looking at the PNR?

Oh, there was always the problem with CMT that your user details needed to match the booking name - including middle name.

Hopefully they can sort it!

Did you happen to use a voucher / credit during the booking? We had an issue last using a voucher from a domestic flight to book international flights and it didn’t ticket automatically because of some conniption with calculating the taxes.
