I've been having annoying issues lately with Q-card check in. Only happens when I am checking in for domestic reward flights. For some reason the system does not have my QFF details in the system (even though I made the booking through my QFF account), so I am told I have to go to the service desk. I go to the desk and they have to manually enter my QFF details.

Any similar experiences?

Can't say I've ever experienced issues with Q-card check in.

I'm assuming that you've logged in to your QFF account to make sure that the booking is shown against your profile beforehand? Sounds an odd thing to suggest, but it's one of those extra things I'd check just to make sure nothing hinky happened when making the points booking and it forgot to include your QFF details.

what method of check in are you using ?

I have had ongoing issues with the Q card reader poles and SYD and BNE each time refers me to the service desk ( i am a weekly commuter ) ... normally in a hurry so do not bother and just use the kiosk ... I called up and received a new card (silver) and this still did not work .... I am now SG but have not had a chance to try it out but i will next week

the bookings are all in manage my booking
I am not in a exit row or any other reason I cannot use this method of check in

I noticed another earlier thread that others having issues as well ... one thing was mentioned that other cards like building access passes that are stored in walets could be the issue .. this could be my problem .... will try next week with my new SG card .... that has not been near the building access cards etc ....

Are you one row back from exit row?
Sometimes the system still thinks its an exit row

No not near a exit row , however I do always access MMB in the T-80 window and make seat changes further towards the front ... Always fly 767 and seated rows 23-30

I do olci the day before and then q card at the gate with no issues... Have you tried that? I know it doesn't solve the underlying issue but you can let QF worry about that...
