But there are no local credit cards that you can transfer into PC? i know Amex stopped in June.

so does that also mean bonus points on stays will no longer count?

I was talking global re the credit card, and yes bonus points dont count.

ahh ok.. Well that will certainly make re-qualifying impossible for me this year! back to Gold I go!

As the Topguest points were the only points I earned at IHG properties last year and will likely also be this year, I don't think I'll be too affected. However, 9 days into the year I am still Platinum having earnt about 5000 points last year

I have just had 4 X 50 lots of Top Guest points post from last year and they had no effect on my requal points balance.

Yep, appears that the last day I received points from PC was Wed (Jan 30). Right, onto DT Hilton again then....... till that goes It's funny as Mal and I were only just talking about this and their business model this week (TopGuest).

Think I ended up with about 17k, so happy with that! Glad I don't have to remember to check-in every day now

I still do a dt checkin most days just to keep my hh points ticking over. But yeah now that they don't count towards status (PC points wise) some of the attraction did disappear.

I'm amazed they haven't cancelled your account, cancelled most of my families, maybe it was the auto4sq that did it. My own personal account still open but has not posted points in months.

I'm not.... those who seem to have been cancelled used auto4sq a lot. I've never used it and more or less checked in (to pretty much the same properties day in day out) and am still active....

I also had about a 4 to 1 check in ratio non-Topguest to Topguest locations.
