Priority checkin on BA

As a QP member, do I get priority checkin with BA?

I'm flying SYD-LHR on a QF economy ticket, but on BA metal, so presumably I'd be checking in at the BA desks.

Priority Check in is a benefit when travelling on Qantas but not BA. I would suggest checking in online and then (if you have bags) using the internet check in bag drop

You will indeed be checking in with BA

If you have silver though (OW Ruby) you can use the J CI

With regards checking in at a BA counter, is this also the case with the BA/QF codeshare from SYD-SIN? I have a QF flight number on BA metal and would normally check in at the QF First counter for my QF flights. Is this still possible or will I have to find a BA First counter?

If the flight is operated by BA ex SYD then you need to go to the BA check in desks

If you are Platinum, you can check in at the First Class counter - have done so on all OW airlines, and they are happy to check in partner/colleague even if they aren't Platinum as well, and flying on different flight!

Same for boarding, Platinum allows you to board with First class and then they step down from there. A real help when you have two bags of gear to stow - one up top and one under seat.

I have checked in for a BA operated QF codeshare flight at QF desks at SYD before with no issues. Used J counter when I was a QP bronze when travelling in Y with no issues.
