I have just gotten off QF 751 from SYD to ADL priority boarding in Sydney a failure with no help from the gate and the F/A horrified she had to stop the normal line. On board in J class a complete different story. CSM outstanding with service and took on board issues with priority boarding. Due to head winds Captain advised we would be 15 late. About 30 minutes prior to landing CSM brings a pax up to sit in 1C my platinum shadow. CSM explains pax flying back from SYD to ADL as his wife has gone into labour and needs to be first off. Asked if that was ok with me and of course it was. The great customer service continues the tech crew got permission for a rapid decent and we landed on time with dad on his way to see mum in labour and hopefully witness the joy of his second child being born. The reason for this post is yes we all have a go at failed priority boarding and this flight was no exception but the CSM and Tech Crew should be praised for outstanding customer service now off to the AFF ADL catch up
