Pride Flight

I live in Sydney but I'm tempted to fly to PER and back just for this!
Well taking there's bottomless beverages (you'd hope alcohol) ... You can beat that at 7AM when leaving Perth. I'd be in for that though a lack of annual leave.

This year's pride flight VA1978.

Missed the pre-flight party at the gate but looked like food platters and drinks were on offer.

Upon boarding each seat had a paper bag with either a wrap or sandwhich similar to the ones offered in the lounge, bottle of water, and a pouch with sunglasses and eye shades.

The normal buy on board menu or coffee/tea wasn't available just cans of gin and tonic, prosseco, beer, etc. I think there was 5-6 rounds of drinks offered in the short flight from MEL to SYD.

There were drag performances towards the end of the flight and after landing. Everyone was quite social and taking to passengers around them and crew throughout the flight. I'm not sure why I booked when I'm quite introverted and not the most social person but it was still a fun flight.
