I can't work out which seats are the best in the premium Y cabin on the 4-class B744. AusBT rates 34JK as the best but Seatguru rates those as one of the worst. Any opinions from people who've been on these would be much appreciated! Do people find the legroom in these seats restricted because of the bulkhead?

It depends I guess is the answer. I hate bulkhead seats in any cabin, and I believe that if you're over 5'10", bulkhead seats don't represent a good seat.

Being taller I prefer a seat where I can stretch my legs under the seat in front of me. Then it just comes down to if you prefer window or aisle.

I still reckon you'd enjoy 29J/K on an "old" 3 class 744 (skybed Mk 1) - approx. a metre of room in front of the seat before the bulkhead.

Well, I'm definitely not over 5'10". Are 34JK similar to row 1 on the JQ A330s?
