Hi all,
I had a booking on QF36 SIN-MEL on Jul 9 and paid the $105 to secure seat 80K as soon as the flights were ticketed (two days ago). Today I changed my flights from SIN to MEL to QF82/461 (better timing departing SIN) and grabbed 80K on the newly booked QF82 and paid my $105 again.

Is there any chance that QF will refund the original seat booking fee? The receipt states:
"If, in accordance with your fare rules, you choose to move to a different flight, or elect to be moved to a higher cabin on the same flight, the amount paid or Qantas Points redeemed for Seat Selection or an Extra Legroom seat is non-refundable."
so I think I am out of luck but I thought I'd ask whether anyone has had any luck getting seat booking fees refunded in the past by calling QF?
No drama if not, I'll put it down as experience and that I should have waited until I was absolutely certain I wasn't going to change my flights.

I don't think you're going to get a refund here. The T&Cs are pretty clear and Qantas is not known for giving refunds even when the customer is entitled to one!
