Qantas Business companion fares international out of Sydney - ends 12 may 15. Just noticed on their website today. No idea how long it's been there.
When I search, don't see much notice/discussion in AFF of current sales like this.

Examples:
Honolulu $3500 Aug, Jan-Mar 16
Christchurch $598 May-Nov 15

Any ideas what time of year Virgin and Qantas do these sorts of sales??

Email went out yesterday about 2pm. Just in time for me as I was about to buy a JAL flight in Y and was able ti swap over to premium economy for only a few hundred more on QF..

Got PE on CX for $900 less than QF, and all the way to MAN. No Heathrow YES, did I tell you I hate Heathrow.
