Hello - has anyone experienced delays in getting SQ flights credited to Velocity? The outbound flights from Australia to Asia posted pretty much straight away (within 2 days of travel) but for the return it's now been about 12 days and no points...should I wait or do an online missing points claim?

The points should have posted by now but the web site states for missing points on SQ to wait 14 days before submitting a retro claim. Were the flights VA code-share or simply SQ ones?

Ive been waiting 5 weeks for 5 flights to be credited to us. VA marketed bookings/reservations and SQ metal.

Interesting.

The problem is not confines to SQ, I've encountered delays with VA marketed bookings (i.e. VA flight numbers)/reservations on DL Metal. There certainly seems to be issues with the posting of these types of flights.

It's an area where VA/VELOCITY needs to certainly lift its game.

I'm in the same boat, had the first left to SIN credited but the flight to HKG about an hour later still has not credited.

The return flights, HKG to SIN and SIN to SYD also has not credited, I've just hit the 14 day mark for one of the missing legs but will wait to Friday and do a retro claim for the total 3 legs which did not credit.

As a data point, my recent flights SYD-SIN-HND and return all credited to my Velocity account within 2 business days of taking them. SQ flight numbers.

Velocity told me on the phone once that SQ flights usually need to be retro claimed. No idea why they can't get this to work automatically!

Am in the same boat, VA ticketed for me and SQ ticketed for wifey have not credited yet, did email platinum desk and they have promised to chase for me, not really bothered at the moment cos no upcoming review date.

Also, SQ has worked previously without fail, I think it may be related to either the change of N,Q,T,V now earning on VA or something to do with the double point offer causing points and SC crediting delay.

Also awaiting status credits and points however from Etihad and Air Berlin - 12 days now. SQ points have historically credited next day for me.

When Mr Jurahn flew PER-SIN-LHR return mid last year (booked and ticketed through SQ), only one of the 4 legs credited automatically - we had to chase up the other 3.

I've had this problem too. I'd double check what fare calss you were in - I've been caught out on fares (not always cheap ones either!) that were a class that doesn't accrue points and SCs.

I've never had issues with SQ in the past - the flights normally show up within a day or two. Flew SQ ticketed SQ metal SYD-SIN-HKG after Easter and the flights showed up in a day or two complete with the 50% bonus points from the promotion you had to register for earlier this year. Flew back HKG-SIN-SYD over the ANZAC Weekend, same booking class, no sign of the points. Just lodged missing points claims.

Especially annoying as my review date is 22 May and I'm heading out again from 9 June for a month... with VA's apparent delay in issuing new cards and all the fuss over that I'm assuming I'll be able to talk my way into SQ recognising my existing card on my outbound trip but trying to get my benefits for my return journey sounds like a nightmare, chasing the missing SCs first if they don't show up, then having to fuss about attempting to get the fabled letter from Velocity, then if I get that trying to convince the check-in agents in ZRH to accept it. There must be a better way to do these things.

We are having the same problem. Flew SQ MEL-LHR early April - flights showed up in 3 days. Flew CDG-MEL 2nd May and still nothing. Having said that, review date was 1 May so account still sitting in limbo. Come on guys - I need confirmation I've requall'd as Platinum.

Update: Both my missing flights posted today and my Maintain Gold status now says "Achieved", so that's this problem sorted at least.

My points for return flight posted today, now to wait for the SYD-SIN-DEL to be posted :p

Its week 6 and Im still waiting for 5 flights to be credited but today I was told by customer service (I phoned them as there has been no response/emails from VA) that one of the flights was denied by retro claims because hubbys does not appear on the manifest.

So I have a eticket, a boarding pass, passport control and they acknowledge/credited the returning flight but somehow my husbands name doesnt appear on the manifest for the original flight to that country?

I'd be calling customer service and insist on speaking to a supervisor!

Mine also credited the other day... "Welcome to another year of platinum Mr Nitro" :D

both legs have credited, just 180 short of another year of platinum and 5 months to go :)
