Random Q:

My eldest child has been sick for a number of days and I'm looking at my dad flying to ADL-MEL tonight. I was thinking it might be a small thank you to apply for a points upgrade on his return flight. Does anyone whether a points upgrade is possible for a third party?

Yes it is, log in to your account and go to the upgrade with points page and it will allow you to enter the PNR for someone else.

I hope your young one is feeling better.

A lovely thought to upgrade dad. How did you go with this?

Thanks, my son is better now.

The points upgrade came through >24hrs prior to the return flight. Dad was chuffed, he enjoyed the J lounge and the flight.

Thanks for the update. Glad all is well. Please pass on my regards to your Dad, and a high five to your son. :)
