Normally QF flight, QF metal, QFF the points are in my account by the time I get home/hotel. Last few flights have taken several days to show up.

Anyone else noticing this?

Yep, last week SYD-BNE showed immediately, and then BNE-SYD took four days. A few weeks ago, NRT-MEL, MEL-SYD and CFS-SYD went AWOL, so I had to register for missing points. All QF metal.

Sometimes weekends can slow things down; but normally for a day or two only.

My recent Sunday MEL-SYD flights posted Monday PM. The Monday morning SYD-MEL flight posted Thursday morning - certainly not consistent with most of my previous experience.

My Sunday afternoon BNE-MEL flight had posted when I checked my account yesterday morning.

My PVG-SYD overnight sunday has posted, but the SYD-BNE from monday hasn't, thought it might have had something to do with it being standby, but maybe it is just another "enhancement".

I got off my flight PER - MEL at 1430, points there by 1900 when I got to hotel.

Returned last night on QF30 LHR-MEL and points on website when I checked this morning. Also included was BA points for FIU-LHR for the Sat flight not that these added up to much plus the experience was ordinary with BA.
For the first time ever, I received during the BA flight, a full customer survey to fill out (I didn't see them handing out to others and maybe because I am WP and was sitting way back in the cabin) covering the check-in (terrible BA counters and service in Rome), lounge (BA lounge and offerings were poor), old 757-200, food on flight very average and worse than QF afternoon refreshments, no inflight entertainment (I think this is normal for the shorter flights). Crew were OK.
Needless to say I ticked the 'mostly dissatisfied' and 'very dissatisfied' ratings and on the recommending BA to others or flying with them again section, I was harsh.
I couldn't imagine QF handing out a survey in-flight and for general feedback they only have to monitor FF to get an idea of what most people think.

In all my flying, I have only been given a QF survey once.

It was on a flight from PER to CGK. The stewardess walked around and gave everyone a survey to fill out... and a free pen if we did it.

The cabin crew were extra nice on that flight. There were plenty of drinks service, crew coming round with water (3 times!) Usually QF cabin crew could not give a rat's @rse. (Yes I have been in F as well and never again on QF... don't get me started about QF cabin crew in F)

It's as if QF only want to hear good news.

Occassionally SCs and points for QF flights have taken a few days to post.

I also received a survey on a recent LHR-FRA flight. I actually gave them good rating and had a follow-up email from them a few weeks later. My last few experiences with BA have been good so no real issues.

I joined SIA's Kris Flyer but regularly had problems with long delays to credit points and on several occasions I had to write to SIA with boarding passes, copies of tickets to get the flights credited.
All a lot of trouble and I missed out on at least one SE Asia-Melbourne as I lost the carbon of the ticket!
On one occasion I booked a reward flight on Kris Flyer and then when I got to Tullamarine, the check-in desk said it had been cancelled. Took 40-50 minutes hangaround to sort out.
Travel agent suggested I switch to Thai Airlines scheme (also Star Alliance). I've found credits are swift and accurate.

The Frequent Flyer Concierge team takes the hard work out of finding reward seat availability. Using their expert knowledge and specialised tools, they'll help you book a great trip that maximises the value for your points.

Yes, last week, especially the bonus points meant to be added for my first Oct Flight, but I did receive a Status bonus of 5,000 QF FF pts at the same time after they added the 30 bonus pts. maybe their Sys had a demand peak on some promotions which delayed normal prcessing. BUT does anyone have a similar expereince with MileagePlus or Star Alliance ?

I am facing my points on MP being deleted by end of Dec 07, if I dont do a Star Alliance or partner "activity" flt before then, well I have, three trans tasman on NZ and one Transtasman on parter Emirates, all activity which updates MP to preserve my existing miles.

I have sent my boarding passes and info requested by UAL to their processing centre ( two months back, and still no update or even a response, Emails get the usual avoidance diversionary response that is so American corporate speak.

Any hints out there . Much appeciated

Well did a CBR-BNE yesterday morning and didn't check in for the return that afternoon because I wanted to see Gold on my afternoon BP. :D

I was pleasantly surprised when it was there. My first flight as an SG level FF.

By the time I got home to check the afternoon flight SCs were also credited. No points because of our contract but the SCs are nice. :D
