So what is your credit card points total?
What is your frequent flyer points total with airlines?

I live in the land of plenty Plant.
Of course you only need to have enough.
I have 3 warehouses to avoid points expiry.

Look out for my trip report in September - had a great time burning over 1,000,000 QFF points in the last 8 months

Way more than I can spend.

~300,000 Amex MR points
1.3+ million QFF points
140,000+ AA miles
70,000+ Velocity points
70,000+ Flying Club miles
400,000+ IHG points
70,000+ Hilton points

How about stating a range looking for the highest amount currently in both categories!!!!

There have been a lot less promos over the last year. Particularly the "good" promos that one can really leverage which is critical for me as I do not run a business to churn business spend through...and these days I earn very little points by work travel (which is actually a good thing, as it means I enjoy my life more).

So I am down to 2 million all up.

Luckily it looks like ANZ may top things up a bit. Let us hope that is the start of the points drought ending.

As I have stated on numerous occasions - the cultivation and harvesting of FF pts is a complicated, fickle and arduous process - it is an endeavour not to be taken lightly - it is an endeavour that can reap rewards unimaginable in the broader community.

How many points do I have - who cares - only me - but to more specific - enough to keep me up the pointy end - and with an ounce of luck and thanks to AFF hopefully many others will be in the same boat!

Im always after more. Heck, I now get VA points via my ebay purchases and make hubby do the same.

I couldn't have said it better

May we stay at the pointy end

Let's not forget points are generally tax free too

I have seen someone with eight figure points balances before though

The Frequent Flyer Concierge team takes the hard work out of finding reward seat availability. Using their expert knowledge and specialised tools, they'll help you book a great trip that maximises the value for your points.

AFF Supporters can remove this and all advertisements

Is there a disclaimer with VA that you don't earn points if you use an auction sniper to make the winning bid like with QF?

Does this person have a penchant for tacos & feeding cats?

A pointaholic knows more about the frequent flyer points totals than cash in the bank.
Do you know anyone like this??

Enough to fly to Europe J return x 2 this year. J return x 2 USA next year and still have enough for the following year J somewhere. Oh and a few domestic upgrades along the way. Anything less than that is not enough for me.

Saw the eight figures generated in 1 year !

Ouch, what a nice problem to have.

Was diversified over several programs to enhance opportunities

Problem was there aren't too many F seats out of Oz any more!

Since joining AFF I have redeemed: 1xJ ticket Aus-USA-Aus; 5xJ tickets Aus-Europe-Aus. I have scheduled another award 1xJ Aus-Europe-Aus. I have enough CC and airline points left for probably another 2 long intercontinental (ie not Aus-Asia-Aus) J seats (thinking Aus-Sth America-Aus next time). Will be looking to buy some more Avianca LM points next month if there is another promo. Mixture of CC sign-ups, CC spend, actual flying (!) and buy miles promos.

Have also enjoyed free Amex domestic flights, domestic upgrades, lounges, cheap hotel nights and discounted car hire. Thanks to all for the help. It's a nice hobby, although not one with much social cache or broader appeal. Would love to get along to a social night, but young kids at home makes it difficult.

Before joining AFF in 2009 earn was around 100K points/year and QC life NB, The year I joined still NB and 150K/year. Then 3 years PS @200K-300K/year and last 2 years WP @350K-450K/year. Unfortunately I only see a downward spiral from here after Oct 2015 down so SG then will stabilise in 2016+ PS maybe SG. The golden years have ended. I have plenty of points but house renovations will suck holiday money dry for the forceable future unless the NBN roll out really kicks in.

Thanks to AFF my points earn has skyrocketed and so has my points burn. Current earn 7 figures a year but every time +1 and I fly ADL - SYD 100,000 points gone. Not complaining mind you.
