Problem with those VA tags are the wire ties provided. Too stiff, they make the tag sit at an angle and thus them susceptible to kinks, scratches and a short life.

I asked for 2 replacements last time, noted the problem was the wire rarther than the plastic, but still got only one in the mail..

Recommend replacing the wire with something more flexible, allowing tag to sit flush on the bag..

maybe if you're in an NZ lounge see if they have any blue loops.

I can't seem to get any no matter what I do. Any ideas?

I contacted the Velocity FB people a couple of times, emailed the velocity feedback address and then when I was on the phone for something else I asked them to chase it up and was "very disappointed" a lot. Something within the combination eventually made it happen! :)
 
One of my gold tags completely snapped and I had no hassles getting a new one sent out. Can't remember if I requested it via the website or FB though.
 
I sent an email to the Platinum address on Thursday, requesting three new tags. Response just came through. Now let's see how many they send!

I remember doing this previously when I was SG, and it wasn't a problem. They sent two I think.

I've requested new tags maybe every two years of being Platinum. Always managed to get two. That said, last year when I requested, they sent me a total of six new membership/GlobalWallet cards (each in a separate package) and I had to go back and remind them it was baggage tags I asked for - and they promptly arrived shortly after that.

(Edit: the advantage of having so many unactivated GlobalWallet cards is I never struggle to have one to use at BP).

Just had three bag tags arrive in the post today. 15 days after receipt. Each in a separate envelope. Definitely something automated going on there.
