The outbound flight rec'd status points, the return didn't. Go figure.

Guess you got lucky once. I didn't have any luck with SC posting following my flight.

Apparently you can cancel the free flight, and then use the credit to book a different flight and then you get the points and sc's - seems a bit of a faff to me though - and not sure if it works post Sabre transition
