Planning trip to USA and/or Canada for WC 2026, any tips and advice?

Well, said is true, but I guess ignore that noise and just apply for what you need.
We all know that high demand games is nearly impossible to get any way (like our Seattle clash with US hosts, whole Washington state will compete for those tickets, so I wouldn't even bother)
BTW our low demand AUS vs. Paraguay game Cat 3 tickets available at resale platform at the nearly nominal price
Exactly - our group are staying at all inclusive hotels in PVR and CUN. We have applied for the AU games in YVR and SEA however the rest of the application is GDL and MEX games. The pool bar as TV's so we are set for an INTL fiesta

By my estimate I think anyone applying for Australia group stage matches and R32 and R16 matches using FA+ should get allocated their tickets.

And yes FIFA have decided scalping is legal as long as they are the recipients of the loot. Can't wait for this dynamic pricing to be consigned to history for 2030.

true, except our game vs. hosts in Seattle IMO.
I am glad I won't be in US that time and only come for third group match plus whatever we can manage in 1/32 and 1/16

for a purpose of flight options planning, I am trying to understand possible scenarios beyond group stage if we get there.
1/16 stage is impossible to predict at all.
But for 1/32 it depends on our final position in group D.
From there, most probable scenarios If Australia finishes 3rd and qualifies as one of the best eight third-place teams:
June 29 Boston - from 3-rd place vs. group E winner, match 74
June 30 New York – from 3-rd place vs. group I winner, match 77
July 3 Kansas city - from 3-rd place vs. group K winner, match 87

If we are luckier:
July 3 Dallas – from 2-nd place vs. group G 2-nd, match 88
July 1 San Francisco – winner vs. 3-rd groups BEFIJ, match 81

Am I reading it right?

Yes those scenarios are correct.

Winning the group would be easy from a travel perspective!

As long as everyone doesn’t apply for cat 3! The jump between cat 2 and cat 3 is shocking
