This was from the latest edition (December) of their inflight magazine (Going Places). Peter Bellew, the new CEO, stated that they are planning to have lie-flat business class seats when the 737MAX starts arriving in 2019. No further details provided apart from that. Very relieved to hear this, as MH are using the 737s for a lot of regional flights lasting up to 5 hours. This will make them much more competitive against the airlines that are using widebodies on similar routes. Finally some initiative and forward-thinking from this airline rather than playing catch-up all the time.
