Philippine Airlines Delays/Cancellations

Probably due to recent cancellation(s) of the normally A321-operated PR221 MNL-BNE and its daytime return PR222, most unusually A333 RP-C8780 operated PR222 today, arriving MNL at 1939 hours, 144 minutes late.

The SYD-MNL PR212 (1030 hours) had RP-C8789: it took off at 1340, being estimated to arrive at 1959, 179 minutes behind schedule.

Monday 10 July 2023's PR209 from MNL to MEL (A333 RP-C8789), the 1830 hours, did not take off until 0254 hours today (Tuesday 11), arriving at gate at 1226 hours, 446 minutes behind schedule. The returning PR210 (the 0630 hours) was in the sky at 1435 with gate arrival forecast for 2038 hours, 443 late, so at least these flights are consistent(ly bad).

I don't know why they were so delayed, as yesterday PR101 from HNL down to MNL arrived at 1852 hours, 92 late, a long time before the aircraft took off for Melbourne.
