Philippine Airlines Delays/Cancellations

On Sunday 19 July 2026, PR222, the 1120 hours BNE-MNL was in the sky two hours later at 1320, with gate arrival for A321 RP-C9933 forecast as 1836 hours, 71 minutes late.

As @Harrison_133 advised, Airservices Australia has said to expect delays in SYD today due to insufficient staffing of the control tower.

PR212, the timetabled 1015 hours SYD-MNL (A333 RP-C8789) was airborne at 1312 hours. Arrival at its MNL gate is suggested as 1910 tonight, 150 minutes late.

PR211 from MNL to SYD is usually punctual but the Friday 28 August 2026 offering (A333 RP-C8786) did not take off from MNL until 0227 hours on Saturday 30, meaning gate arrival becomes a likely 1153 hours, 233 minutes late. The 1015 hours SYD-MNL (PR212) is not predicted to depart until 1400 this afternoon. No obvious reason for the inbound delay as the aircraft had been in Manila since before 1800 yesterday.
