Just received this:

Perth Airport

In preparation for the opening of the new Domestic Terminal in early 2013 and further consolidation of all commercial air services to the current international precinct, the terminals have been renumbered.
From 1 November 2012, the following terminal numbers will apply:
Air Services
Current Terminal Number

New Terminal Number

International
(All international airlines)

Terminal 1

Terminal 1 (T1)

New Domestic
(Alliance Airlines, Skywest,
Tiger Airways)

-

Terminal 2 (T2)

Multi-user Domestic
(Virgin Australia)

Terminal 3

Terminal 3 (T3)

Qantas Domestic
(Qantas, QantasLink, Jetstar)

Terminal 2

Terminal 4 (T4)

Please note: Qantas domestic services are not moving – only the terminal numbers are changing.

In addition, when Alliance Airlines, Skywest and Tiger Airways move to Terminal 2, the Qantas Group will expand some of their domestic services into Terminal 3.

And who says things aren't on the move at PER. If you can't actually do anything, shuffle the deckchairs.

? so how do you transfer from skywest to Virgin.

This is just speculation, but it's probably likely PER will set up a frequent shuttle service between the Virgin/Qantas terminals 3/4 and the new regional terminal 2 - considering the amount of east coast FIFO traffic there is.

I wonder if QF will eventually move Jetstar over to terminal 2?
