I haven't stayed at the Outram, but keep in mind that even though it is on the Red cat route, the red cats finish for the day about 6pm.

Even so, only a cheap cab fare from the CBD.

Pauly,

Ever done anything really wild, We stayed at Miss Mauds Sweedish Hotel, right in the heart of Perth and not only was the room fantasic the buffet breakfast was superior to any Ive had in a long while.

In Adelaide, My home town, it really depends when youll be hear. Starting 15 Feb the Fringe Festival starts and youll pay a fortune to be near Rundle Street ( albeit the best place to be ) The Hyatt deal where they throw in the second night free etc etc is worth looking at, Its location next to the casino is tops. If not the new extention of the tram to Glenelg and you have three great 5 star hotels at the end of the line. And you at the beach. Its only about 10 minute ride.

I hear different stories about the rooms at Miss Mauds - some say they are good, others say they need maintenance. But yes, the buffets there are good :)
