All of this new technology garble goes way over my head.The implementation of the RFID chips is yet to be seen, but chances are you’ll still need to check-in in some form. The new card/chip just means you wont need to print out a paper ticket, or keep your phone handy, you’ll simply swipe your card instead.

Nothing wrong with a boarding pass. It does the job quite nicely.I’d be quite happy with a chip in my hand, with all the various details.
