Gday guys

read loads in the forums on LAX and carriers - some extremely valuable info guys awesome site.

My circumstances are PER-SYD-LAX (VA 552 - VA1) LAX - DEN (US airways operated by United US6611). RTN DEN - LAX (US Airways operated by United US 6239) LAX - SYD (Delta - virgin flight number VA6551) SYD-PER (Virgin VA555).

So ticket booked through travel.com.au and all one itinerary - different booking confirmation codes for the different airlines - however calling up itinerary on any of the 4 airlines websites brings up all flights.

So my question is, what are peoples thoughts on baggage being checked straight through from DEN- SYD on the return leg and being checked in all the way or will I have to pick up and LAX and recheck for Delta?

3 1/2 hours in LAX outbound - seems enough

2 hours 20 mins return trip in LAX - feeling a little tight

It appears that travel.com.au booked everything via Virgin as the common denominator.

Cheers:)
