PE Seating on 777

I think I'd find a spare seat in Y if I ended up there!

Before the refit we had the old row 5 J mini cabin and I can confirm, a FA walking past a curtain a few times per hour, moving the curtain gets annoying. And thats without it being on an angle. Had a similar experience with a SQ curtain (Y seat back then) and was ready to wrap it around someones throat by the end of the flight.

There's this "Google "Street View" of the Business and PE Cabins if you want a virual stroll around: Virgin Australia B77W - Google Maps

Extremely helpful, thank you both!

I think I will keep 16D outbound but give VA a call and change the inbound. That self service bar is in a damn awful position too...16G/H/K are free to move to. Looking at the wonderful walkthrough of the cabin on Google, I think G is the option unless I want the window (but I tend to move about during the flight, so dunno if that's a good idea). Planning (at this stage) to go straight to work after landing on the Monday morning, so rest will be a priority.

The curtain angle doesnt look as bad as the guys photo. Is the reviewers photo the actual cabin?

That view from Google Streetview is 15H I believe - the reviewer sat in 15D.

Ah, I got the wrong seat/side of the plane and yes, correct seat I can see the curtain angle.

We've booked 16 A/C and 16 H/K this October. The last time we flew, it was the old config but I do remember how awful it was for the poor pax in the front row. His long legs couldn't handle the bulkhead and the curtain was opened without warning - before some passengers actually tripped into him. I'd avoid all bulkhead rows if you're tall. They really detract from the Premium experience. 41 inch pitch is amazing, go for Rows 16/17 if you can.
