I recently returned dfw-bne in pe. The seat was fine, especially space at bulkhead but the footrest was very uncomfortable. Used pillow, didn't help. Thinking of booking pe next trip, has anyone found a way to make the footrest comfortable. Thanks.

It's a pain all right. If at the bulkhead, put your carry on in front and use as a foot rest. Much more friendly.

Now why didn't I think of that..... Mind you as I get older I shrink in height and my bag was the only one in the bin, I had to ask nice seat companion to get out for me. Just couldn't reach, wasn't heavy, it was the large bin and bag toward back. But something to think about next time.

I dont think any over 175cm can comfortably use the footrests in PE.

My trick is to get a pillow and when reclining for sleep, put it at the base/back of the seat - it provides addional support.

Cover your self with a blanket and do your seatbelt up.

I also try to use another pillow as a foot rest.

At 195 cm I have never used a footrest in my life... I'm not even sure I understand what they are designed for! :-)

Agree here at 193cm the footrest is at best useless and at worst actually makes it more uncomfortable.

PE bulkhead as with Jetstar starr class bulkhead... use a cabin bag - especially a 115cm bag - allows you to get your legs and feet completely horizontal.
