Paying overseas travel agent - Best strategy?

BankWest and CBA cards don’t charge foreign transaction fees and give awards or QFF points
Ditto NAB, at least the one I have.

I wouldn't use a pay.com.au or any other payment facilitator to pay the travel agent. You won't be covered by either the network chargeback protection. It may also mean you don't get whatever travel insurance comes with the card (in fact I"d be surprised if you did, but could be wrong).
