CP in Perth switched to a la carte for the hot food offering a few months back

A la carte is better.

Novotel Sydney Central (no longer a Novotel) had a restaurant layout that was basically split in two.

The bar and a sheer curtain divided the room. There was a small walkway between.

Those with continental were seated on one side, the hot food people on the other.

I’d often see staff speak with people on the continental side who had hot food.

Whether they received a lecture or a bill, I’m not sure.
