Passport Renewal / Application - Time Taken?

Mine has been held inside two extremely tight plastic sleeves for 5 months now and if I take it out and leaf through the pages at all, it goes straight back to being bent again like I've dropped it in a swimming pool. I've given up expecting this thing to ever come good. Totally worth being the world's most expensive passport by some margin. Really top quality merch.

TIA, sadly.

Submitted PP applications last Friday afternoon, 30 June. Now Friday morning 7 July I have received notification my PP is on it's way and a tracking number. No indication when it will be delivered. No notification yet for MrsP.

What is the status for MrsP application in the Passport Office status tool?

Possibly in somebody else's pile to process - hopefully not much further away!
Whilst they can be called to follow up, YMMV at the relatively early stage in the advertised timeline. Can't hurt if all that's required is peace of mind.

In no rush. Just posting so AFFers know what to expect at this particular time. TBH I was surprised how quickly mine was processed, even if it is not yet in my hot hands.

I did mine a couple of months ago as an application from Brisbane. Standard application and had the passport delivered in a little over a week. Was surprised how quick they did it tbh, glad I hadn't paid for priority...
