Panicky pilot caused passenger jet plunge

And this is the very reason many experienced captains are concerned about the direction some carriers are heading in employing first officers with very little flight time experience.
 
I'll be the first to admit that I'm not a pilot but I would have thought that anybody would know that if you pushed forward on the control column and the plane goes down and then you want the plane to come back up, it would be a natural reaction to pull back?

If you made it to First Officer, then this should even be a reflex!

Even basic students normally get that one right. :shock:
