There also AA ex NRT; they did have an increase last month, but a DONE4 base cost is currently ¥780,400 (~AUD7,600).

As for MRU, it's BA or bust and the base cost is MUR161,000 (~AUD6,000)

Current DONE4 base cost ex Oz is AUD10,189 and it's going up!

Cheers,

My Bad;  had been looking at NRT where the list starts with xONE3's so DONE4's are in the second group down; for Oz, DONE4's are in the first group. I did a mental "DIFF" and copied the 'changed' amount by page position. :-|

Been thinking about this today. The plan for my DONE4 is to start travel on 27 August 2008 and spread it out until June 2009 with a side trip back to Aus to break the trip in two and maximise out the mileage/segments/destinations for a NA trip and a Europe trip.

Obviously, I wasn't going to ticket until May-June next year but based on the fare changes, I'm thinking of ticketing soon. If I ticket now I'd have to put filler dates in for all segments apart from the first 2-4 (greater than 11 months into the future). Are there some restrictions that won't let me do this???

If you don't mind paper tickets you can simply leave the whole thing open dated but for the first intercontinental and any preceding flights. As you're doing ex-Australia I don't see paper tickets presenting any issues. AA Sydney would simply forward them to you in the mail after issuing them.

My TA spoke to their Ticketing Office (Consolidator) and they are indicating an increase of around $450 for an AONE4. Don't know if they are guessing, or have some information.
