Does this make sense to anyone?

Flew JL35 (booked as QF4026) 4NOV. With the normal posting from JAL operated flights, it should have posted on Nov 5 (JAL does weekly batches to QFF posting on Tuesdays) or Nov 12 if it missed the batch.
Hadn't posted by Nov 16, so sent in a claim.

Around 2 hours ago, I got an email saying claim unsuccessful, so I was about to pull out the boarding pass to get a photo and send in, when I opened the app and saw:

Mon 18 Nov 2019QF 4026 BUSINESS/BUSINESS 04-NOV-2019 HANEDA/SINGAPORE 8,400105
Fri 15 Nov 2019UNSUCCESSFUL – PARTNER REJECTED THE CLAIM QF 4026 D 04-NOV-2019 00:00:00 HANEDA/SINGAPORE

QF rejected a QF flight number claim, then posted the flight? Work experience kids again?

All part of Life's rich pageantry :) Which Qantas is so good at adding to. I would't lose any sleep over it - even in the world of aviation (a totally unfathomable business) Qantas manages true mysteries :)

I put in a claim for ORC recently and got an email to say it was denied because it was already done (yep the same day they sent the email)
