Now You're Flying Virgin Australia

Congratulations. You can do a google search and find a picture of a plane. Well done. And what does that prove, seeing you're banging on about evidence? That no other plane before that one had anything on it that said "Airline of Virgin Blue"? What a laugh.

There have been planes and material that have said "Airline of Virgin Blue" for a long time. Maybe not in the big white font, but it was there in one form or another. Besides that, as I already said, just because a couple of planes might have that painted on there recently doesn't make it a rebranding exercise. Do you have marketing qualifications and actually understand what a rebranding exercise is? Maybe it's a communication issue and what you are thinking in your head doesn't match what you are actually typing.

Maybe do a quick google search for "Pacific Blue" and see what it brings up. I can assure you it's not Virgin Blue...

By the way, you do realise that once you start making accusations, shouting and calling names, then you've already lost the argument? I guess you'll still want to have the last word though...
Look, i am not going to bother arguing over this, because you are not listening to what I am saying. Ill simplify it to you.

1. Pacific Blue will become Virgin Australia next year. The first aircraft to have the hybrid scheme was in January. Now the announcement of Virgin Australia in MAY has confirmed that PB will become VA Next year. They started re-painting planes earlier.
2. Pacific Blue was obviously an airline of Virgin Blue BEFORE May, now it is VA.
3. It is a re-branding exercise, so if it was not re-branding why would they do this? Because Pacific Blue will no longer exist!!!! The paint job was done before the May 4th Re-branding day. They will have VB's old aircraft painted back into the new livery.

I suggest you go read some information on the link i gave you. Because i am not questioning my self, i am 100% correct.

Don't bother replying, because you are not listening to me, about the true facts which will lead to more of this conflict. So go read and come back after reading 675 posts on that thread.

Good day.

Good day.

If it was rebranding as you say then would it not say "airline of Virgin Australia"
I read somewhere it was put on for specific flights (coughet maybe???) the local authorities approved virgin traffic rights and wanted virgin planes not pac blue.
Then again you will probably call me a retard who knows nothing too

Damn you iphone and fat fingers. Sent from my iphone and AFF app :))

This was done before the launch day so it was Virgin Blue. If they wanted virgin planes, they got virgin planes, it has 2 sides to the story. Of course you aren't a retard.

Good day.

As other members have said the change of titles on the side of the DJ aircraft operating PacBlu flights happened well before anything to do with VirginAustralia was launched. The reason for the change of titles is because DJ not PacBlu have the rights to fly to Indonesia from Australia and the Indonesian government started making noise about the flights not being VirginBlue... As a temporary measure until PacBlu is folded into VirginAustralia they decided to slap some very cheap looking (one of the aircraft lost the 'V') decals on... so while there was a change of branding on the Aussie Pac Blue planes I wouldnt say it had anything to do with the rebranding otherwise all the other (ZK rego) Pac Blu's would have had the same treatment.

My lord, you lot need to settle down. Who cares what plane had what livery first? They're all changing soon enough anyway. Here, have a picture of a chilled out kitten:

I honestly don't care what was painted when either, but obviously that was taken as something to argue with when it wasn't even the point I was making...

But yes, we should have more pictures of chilled out kittens! :D

Hmm, come Aug 24 lets see how much the QF fans get worked up over their aircraft going Orange, including some 744s, difference is one would be changing for the better via a paint job, one would not. We live in interesting times :D.

Another (and final) reminder to those who don't seem to get it!

Attack the topic and do not attack each other.

Is it such a hard concept to grasp?

I guess a lot of the recent discussion in this thread could have been avoided by asking the obvious question. Does any business rebrand before they announce the new brand? The obvious answer is no. A more detailed answer is only if they are completely stupid and DJ ain't stupid.
