In the past 12 months I've had 14 flights that don't earn any points/sc and these don't show on the activity statement. Almost as if I'd never taken the flight at all.
Clearly I have these QF/oneworld flights under my belt and using my QF membership as status is used on these flights.
I have 24 confirmed business class flights in the next 12 months but will not earn any points/status credits from these.
These don't appear to count as activity and I'm wondering what would happen after 18 months with no other points being credited to the account.
Do you think points would be lost due to 'account inactivity' even though my membership would be very active? A lot of these flights actually generate QF revenue, it's just that the program says they won't earn any points/status credits. In this sense - I'm trying to help QF but I feel if nothing appears on my activity statement it will be viewed as if I'd not done any flying at all. Does QF even track non-earning flights or they don't choose to show non-earning flights?
Thoughts?
